There is an amazing sense of pride and accomplishment you get when you finish a project and can say; I built that/did that. This also has a funny way of building yourself confidence. Confidence comes from competence, doing things over and over again until you're successful. Because of the trades and the trial and errors, I now have the confidence to try different at home projects and repairs, saving me money along the way. I’m not afraid to pick up a new tool and try something different and this has helped build my self confidence and self-esteem. Check out these confidence building videos where I take on some new challenges.

In 2018 I started my journey in the skilled trades completing a General Machinist pre-apprenticeship and Co-Op at Arcelor Mittal Dofasco. Here are some photos of highlights, memories and projects from that year.
